Breath Meditation seeks to lower anxiety and nervousness, and helps practitioners to become more aware of basic goodness in oneself and others.
Small and habitual thought patterns begin to fade in breath meditation.
It is a way to a natural and greater awakening. It is easy to learn and simple to practice.
Devotional Meditation
Devotional meditation at Mystic Cottage is a way to deepen spiritual lifewith a path to direct experience of the Divine. This form of meditation is a way to go beyond the closed horizon of the ego.
The practice is used to feel the presence of that Infinite Spirit, first intermittently, then more and more, until a full and conscious embrace has been attained.
The Amen Practice
The Omen, or Amen, practice is based on the meaning of the word.
Amen is a creation word-or a manifestation word. It is a deep practice where students begin to become aware of the right hand of the Infinite, and how its vibration brings power and healing into creation.
The Pearl of Mary Magdalene
The Pearl of Mary Magdalene is the final and a very special practice. It is the practice that allows students to take on the very breath of Infinite Spirit. It has a charging ability that allows a transforming energy to flow. It is based on the ability to become truly transformed. (Or, as attributed to Mary Magdalene, ...to become a new human.)
